monday mornings reading.

Room 11 has been learning about inference. we read a story about a teacher monday mornings, but the author made it like the teacher was a kid: Josh Millar gets up, does some normal morning things, goes to school, gets up (at class) and said "good morning boys and girls." 

and the class said good morning back to him. 

The book made josh like a boy because he smashed a neighbor's window and ran away, did a victory dance and ate chocolate in the morning. they are all not teachely things.

eastle test

room 11 needed to do a writing test about either a picture about a dog in the sea, two pigs swimming, a tree monster or some people playing soccer. heres mine: (about the pigs swimming.)

A thin man sat in his office looking out the window. A knock sounded at his door. He could see that it was his fat maid: mint fizz. She paused then held up a newspaper and  sharply said “have you seen the news Mr. Joltson!”

“Yes, yes sad murder.” said Fog Joltson “lucky they got in jail though.”

“no , no, no the headline says: 2 pigs swim in pool…”

That put an image in Fogs mind, but then he came out of his day dream and continued listen.

“... and drown.”

“Oh.”

“Mmm-mmm.”

“Well thats-.”

“Mmmmmmmm-mm.”

“Um-.”

“Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm-m.”

“Excuse me but-.”

“Mmmmmmmmmmmmm-mm *snort* mm oh sorry I fell asleep.” she left.

Then Fog fell asleep.

The next day everyone was asleep because if you imagine pigs swimming it's sort of like counting sheep but much, much, much more effective.

writing character description

in room 11 have been learning about character description, i have done the emotions: anger, happiness and sadness.

“THAT'S IT!!!!!!!!!!” pouring with rage the old man half marched half stomped over to his neighbours and banged on the door. A short lady slowly opened the door “yes.” she answered sheepishly and scaredly  “YOU !@#$%^!!! YOU, YOU YOUR A *&^%$!!!  I'LL GET YOU, YOU FAT OLD *&^%$#@#$%^&!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” he paused then fainted with anger.

A young boy strolled along the pavement high legged and humming to himself… a car drove by and the the women in it looked shocked for before her was the picture of happiness.

Larry dragged his feet too his room, sat on his bed and started sobbing on his pillow. When he looked up again he still had watery red eyes. Larry was sad.
